A quick word on Gambling & Responsibility -

I don't want to have a bunch of Gambler Anonymous links on my site (we can find those anywhere after all) but do be
responsible. I have heard stories about people borrowing money from parents and having to sell their car or take
home equity loans to continue gambling. Gambling is fun, but that is all it should be - I know we have all heard it a ton
but it really is important to not bet more than you can afford to lose. From my own experience I will tell you that
chasing your losses is a very dangerous circle that you can easily get trapped in. I know the feeling - hey, I've spent my
whole life losing here - but I make sure it doesn't affect my family or our needs. I don't want to go on and on but my
goal with this site is to have fun.

So only bet with amounts that don't leave you traumatized. Set up a Bankroll you can afford and use it in small
increments. Using no more than 2-3% of your bankroll for any game will leave you plenty of room. If there is a game I
really! like I will bet a bit higher, but otherwise keep it small. Do NOT bet everything on any 1 game - I have lost several
personal bankrolls doing this and its not fun. When your doing poorly or feeling really stressed take a few days or
weeks off. I am not here to tell anyone how to live, but if gambling has become a life problem then do seek some help.

Make sports betting fun and you can enjoy it as recreation and a way to make some nice extra money for a long time.

Have fun, but don't let it take over your life -
My betting strategy may be unique, but my general gambling principles are not. Below are a few short
ideas and betting tips aimed at making your sports wagering experience enjoyable and long lasting.

UNITS - You need to pick a number to match what your unit size is. For example, if you have a $1,000 Bankroll, your
unit size should be about $2. So when I say 10 units, this would mean a $20 bet (about 2% of your roll). 15 units
would be $30, etc. For me, my units are $10. So a 10 unit game is $100 bet. Keeping your bets small in relation to
your roll will ensure that you have enough units to ride out the streaks. Trust me, you can hit some loooong!!! losing
streaks in sportsbetting - You don't want to go broke by betting too much during a losing streak. You need to stick
around so you can start earning when winning time comes back around.
Some of my personal gambling philosophy -

I happen to be a bit superstitious. There have been lots of games when I picked the
teams correctly, but didn't bet them. Those always turn out fine. It's only when I
actually put my own money on the game that it goes badly. So yes, every time you
read my picks on here, I really am betting on the game. Stupid? maybe - but the
superstition has gotten me. I can't control it. I just try to go with the flow. Thats
where all my bad luck comes from.

Never will I bet a significant portion of my roll on any 1 game -

I have bet all I have on various occasions. This is a tough lesson, but it's something
you just have to learn. It's much better to stay in the game than be broke on the
sidelines going for the quick score.

What's important is where you are in 6 months to a year from now -

I know, same spiel over and over again. But focus on the ultimate goal. Too many
sportsbettors go broke simply because they want it all right away - have patience &
think long term. I am guilty of the same things - it's often easier to preach patience
than to practice it, but set your limits and stick to them.
